The Fantastical Desert of Dreams was created with acrylic and watercolor paint. The process involved a combination of traditional brush painting as well as thinning the paint and applying it by pouring and dripping it onto the canvas. Some of the patterns were made through blowing on the fluid paint.
The scene was inspired by my hikes to the Palm Canyon Oasis in Anza-Borrego Desert located in California.

The borders go around the printed image and do not affect image size. For example, a 1" border would add 1" to each side, making the overall paper bigger.
